By entering your last name, you affirm the following: 1) Previous permits for not more than one garage sale have been granted this calendar year. 2) The merchandise to be sold is owned by my household as our personal property and was neither acquired nor consigned for the purpose of resale. 3) Permits issued will not exceed two consecutive days and will be good for daylight hours only. 4) Permits issued to one member of a household will constitute authority granted to the household as a whole. 5) A copy of the issued permit will be given to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. This will verify the authority to conduct the sale and will exempt persons attending the sale from the City of Belleair Beach "No On-Street Parking restrictions. 6) If inclement weather forces the cancellation of a garage sale before or duing the first day, the City is authoirized to re-issue the permit for a date to to exceed thrity (30) days after the original date. To obtain a reissued ermit, the applicant must sign an affidavit as to the cause of cancellation and present it to the City Clerk. A re-issued permit will be granted without an additional charge. 7) One "Garage Sale" sign shall be erected and shall not be larger than twenty (20) inches in height and twenty-four inches in width. Such signs may be posted on upright braces or other strcutureal devices not to exceed sixty (60) inches in height above the ground and thirty-eight (38) inches in eidth. The sign may be installed upon the property where a garage sale is to take place during the daylight hours of the day wehn the garage sale is in progress and must be removed by the sunset of that day. Persons who live on a street other than Gulf Boulevard and Causeway Boulevard may place one temporary garage sale sign on the right-of-way of Gulf Boulevard at the end of the street on which their property is located. No such temporary sign shall be closer than nine (9) feet from the paved roadway and shall be placed on the puyblic property only and shall be subjected to the same provisions stated above.
